SAIPA Manager:

Salary: R22 000 – R32 000 per month

A permanent SAIPA Manager is typically responsible for managing the financial portfolio of clients and providing accounting services to clients in accordance with SAIPA standards.

Responsibilities

Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for clients.
Providing financial advice and guidance to clients, including budgeting, tax planning, and investment strategies.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, including SAIPA regulations and tax laws.
Managing client portfolios and investments, including monitoring investment performance and making recommendations for portfolio adjustments.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients.
Communicating with clients regularly to provide updates on financial performance and address any concerns or questions.
Managing a team of accounting professionals, including delegating tasks and providing training and development opportunities.
Building and maintaining relationships with clients, colleagues, and other industry professionals.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including changes in accounting standards and tax laws.
Continuously improving processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness of accounting services.

Requirements and Skills

Financial acumen: You should have strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, including understanding financial statements and how to interpret them.
Analytical skills: You need to have the ability to analyse and interpret data, and use this information to make informed decisions.
Communication skills: You should have excellent communication skills to be able to clearly and effectively communicate complex financial information to clients and colleagues.
Attention to detail: You must have an eye for detail and accuracy and be able to identify errors and discrepancies in financial records.
Organizational skills: You must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Leadership skills: As a manager, you should have strong leadership skills to manage a team of accounting professionals effectively.
Time management skills: You need to be able to manage your time effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
Technological skills: You should have experience with accounting software and other financial management tools.
Client relationship skills: You should be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders and provide exceptional customer service.
Must be able to speak and write English and Afrikaans, have a professional telephone manner and be able to communicate with customers on a management level.
